Grittleton Extension

As the second stage of this Grittleton project, we constructed a beautiful rear extension to create a warm and inviting snug area for our clients. Designed to complement the character of the existing property, the extension enhances both the home’s living space and its connection to the surrounding landscape.

Externally, the build features natural Cotswold stone laid with traditional lime mortar, complemented by stone quoins and reclaimed roof tiles to ensure a seamless blend with the original house.

Inside, the new snug showcases exposed oak king post trusses, a stone feature wall, and warm oak flooring, combining traditional materials with elegant design. The result is a cosy, characterful space that reflects the timeless quality and craftsmanship synonymous with our work.
